Don't we have a seperate film music books topic?

Anyway, I bought Moving Music (Dutch), the book that was published by the International Filmfestival of Flanders, for 12.50 Euro at 'De Slegte' bookstore.

I saw they had it a week ago and didn't buy it at first. But after googling the book and finding out it can be ordered for 39.95 Euros I decided to go back of course.
  1. WOW, about 7$ for Da Vinci Code.

I have it for free though. As a review copy biggrin

It's an older score. From what I can remember it was very underscorish. He has much better ones (My Architect)

I adore My Architect and i am still trying to find something similar in his work. John Adams wasn't exactly up that league. Any suggestions?

Aside from those, the only one I'm aware of is Kissing a Fool, which was ok with a couple of gorgeous cues but otherwise understated (and very short on the album).

    Just received today-
Stephane Moucha - Le Miroir de L'eau
Alexandre Azaria - Fanfane La Tulipe
    Frederic Talgorn - The President
Mougy & Tawil - Le Destin (Al Massir)
Georges Delerue - Le Deux Anglaises et le Continent (on Hortensia label)
Armand Amar - La Traversee (not a film score)

I just downloaded this from iTunes:

Dark Blue Almost Black (AzulOscuroCasiNegro) - Pascal Gaigne

Last year I happened to hear one track from this album at StreamingSoundtracks.com when someone else requested it, and fell in love with it. I could never discovered it if I weren't a SST member! Thank you MovieScore Media for donating their new releases to SST. smile

And also it's great that their releases are available on Japanese iTunes, not like Disney's infamous "iTunes US exclusive". tongue

You're in for some nice ondes martenot, perhaps one of the earliest film scores using it. It's the compilation release with Regain and L'Idee, right? Regain is lovely!
