Me neither! I'm in a vicious circle of paying bills, needing new clouthes, putting food on the table etc etc.

It's a matter of prioritisation. I certainly can't afford to buy everything I want and I have to be very selective. I haven't bought much over the past few weeks. I've begun buying a lot more as downloads, thus saving some cash (including on shipping).

Also, I don't tend to go out to pubs/clubs/cinema, etc and that saves a lot of my disposable income.

    Arrived today from Colosseum.de

    Largo Winch - Alexandre Desplat
    Valkyrie - John Ottman

Plus a free gift - Surviving Christmas - Randy Edelman

ah cool, they're throwing again free discs in the ordered items wink

Yes they are! Although it may not be the best freebie to get, it swayed me into ordering from Colosseum (as well as the quick delivery time!) It's given me the chance to listen to some more Edelman - and it gives me a chance to listen to something that I would not buy myself.

Also, call me old-school, but I don't like just asking forum members for copies of scores or downloading them free from dodgy sites - certainly on the scale that I'd like to. I'd prefer to buy most of my music - and try to find them as cheap as possible from various sites (and by studying exchange rates, favourable shipping rates, etc!)

Actually Valkyrie is a review copy. I did purchase as a present to myself the John Williams/Intrada release which has yet to arrive. Being on disability has severely affected my income also.
    listen to more classical music!

I don't really like PEARL HARBOR, but STEPMOM is absolutely gorgeous. Good pick!
    I am extremely serious.

    Just got the following scores/soundtracks:

Night At the Museum - Alan Silvestri
    Spider-Man - Danny Elfman
    Spider-Man 2 - Danny Elfman
Star Trek: Insurrection - Jerry Goldsmith

And I hope to buy several more later on in the day. biggrin
  12. Haven't purchased them, but received them as my Christmas gift from my brother:

    - King Solomon's Mines (Jerry Goldsmith) the expanded Prometheus version
Considering he has the original version and I didn't have it, this is quite a nice surprise. Plus what a hell of an amazing album smile

    - The Matrix: Deluxe Edition (Don Davis)
Heard the original only, I'm curious as to what this will all add as extra material, even if I read most will be the softer score and not much extra action material

    - Wanted on Bluray
This will be good, can't wait to feast my eyes on a stylish visual feast wink

WOOHOO I'm glad it was Christmas all along biggrin
    waaaaaahhhhhhhh!!! Where's my nut? arrrghhhhhhh
  13. Christmas gifts here:

Dario Marianelli - Atonement (from my brother and yes, heard the score before)
Hans Zimmer - Black Hawk Down (finally on CD, been listening to it for a week before Christmas though).
