Nothing comes close for me, with the shock in awe i went through when i listened to this score by Delerue for the first time, along with The French Revolution and Agnes of God! punk

Yes, it is a gorgeous work though probably not such an immediate hit like Agnes of God or my other favourite True Confessions, Chouans took me a few listens to really get my ears around and it's a truly rewarding score.

What type of score is this? I haven't heard of it before, but I love Alexander Desplat music

NP: Infinite Undiscovery - Motoi Sakuraba

I just finished playing the video game earlier this week. I enjoy this guy's music a lot. There are some nice flute moments in this 3 CD score. I also enjoy the main heroic theme. Unfortunately, I think many other parts use synthetic instruments.

Fragile, touching, intimate and very sensitive listen; loved the melancholic, yet quite organic bits.

The Thoman Newman-ish atmosphere and string orchestra at places, and the heartbreaking duduk themes and main motifs set this apart his previous works.

You don't have it so where did you listen to it? ( in the film? Clips? Other? ) Just wondering William, not having a go at you and, of course, no one can make you like it, just a bit surprised as it's a score most people consider a classic, an incredibly diverse score from one of filmdoms greatest composers who at the time was at the very top of his game.

Surely the more "accessible" cues like Trial Run or The Second Coming or The Hunt had some sort of appeal to you?
