    Love the main theme! punk

That's the least thing I like in this score, really, get to the real meat of it, the sinking etc....brilliant stuff!

Too right. It's the action/drama scoring that most interests me in this score!

Unfortunately the song ruined the main theme a little, and even in the score Horner 'pops' it up a little too much.

Spot on Steven, I think I'd probably enjoy Rose's theme more if I wasn't so prejudiced against Celine vomit Dion.

NP: The Keep - Tangerine Dream

    Strange.
I remember loving this score... but it's doing absolutely nothing for me now!
How odd. I can't remember the last time I had such a radically changed appreciation for any score.

Maybe I should try this one again late at night, in a proper setting.
    This is pretty surprising!

I saw the film once ( in the early 80's ), I didn't realise until just now, after looking it up on IMDB that it was directed by Michael Mann. I remember enjoying it but have no idea how it's stood the test of time?

I've been repeating this album so many times in these 3 days! I've got into this score since when I heard Colette Shows Him Le Ropes on the official site, so I'm really happy to finally get this CD on my hand.

All the themes are adorable, from the emotional main theme to the "ratty" Remy theme, comedic Linguini theme, fun tango theme, and everything. End Creditouilles is fantastic, and the song by Camille is also really pleasant.

The best Pixar score I've ever heard (so far).

Yes, and film too. Though is score for Up is quite fantastic too. Is the film out in Japan yet?
Don't miss it, it is very emotional in places.

UP isn't released here until this December. slant I also missed WALL-E at theaters cry

Now you've brought it to my attention I really want to see it again.

NP : ON DEADLY GROUND - Basil Poledouris

Not one of Basil's best but still good and I enjoy it. The track The Journey, alone, makes this an essential purchase in my book cool

My first Isham score. I got it because I like the film and I liked the score in the film.

It's enchanting. Darn, now I have yet another composer I have to collect more of smile

Then it's a theme, and brilliant one at that. The main theme is the one that got turned into the song. (Horner always writes songs around his main themes.)

Hmmm... OK. Sorry; I haven't seen the movie, and the theme I like was featured rather prominently in the score, so I assumed it was the main theme.
