  2. North & South - Martin Phipps

Obviously, this has nothing to do with the famous series about the American Civil War scored by Bill Conti. I´m talking about the four-part BBC miniseries of Elizabeth Gaskell´s classic novel "North and South", which I think of as "Pride and Prejudice meets The Industrial Revolution". The mini-series is hauntingly beautiful, and Phipp´s score exquisite in hitting that darker spots perfectly, while still being sweepingly romantic and engaging.

Yes, people here do own that score.

Are ( were ) you playing this score? I don't see the point in your question.

  3. Listening to TF is nothing you have to apologise for, regardless of what certain other people think.

TF is a guilty pleasure that is only beaten by Icecream. biggrin

Or use the correct title Tchaik On Sky. As it is already common practise with Jabl On Sky.

Its quite simple. See, many people here talks or discuss about famous scores. For e.g, if i ask about John Williams' scores, you would say Star Wars or Harry Potter or Jurassic Park or Jaws, but there are other works of John Williams, which is also quite good. I haven't seen people talked about this particular score Stanley & Iris. That's why i was so curious to know about how many of you do own this score. It seems that i have made my point clear.

I haven't seen the movie either, the score is full of sweeping themes and passionate melodies for string orchestra mainly, big sound and deeply melodic / emotional, melancholic at places.
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

I'll check this one then; the more I listen to patrick Doyle's music, the faster he's joining my favourite composers. I've listened a lot of his scores recently.
  4. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (Michael Giacchino)

The full score as it appears in the game, with the inclusion of the tracks from MOH and MOH:U. An exceptionally awesome listening experience. punk
