There are a few truly classic fallen heroes in literature:

    - Anakin Skywalker
    - Sasuke Uchiha
    - Gollum

And I think Harvey Dent is definitely one of them. A truly epic fall from grace.

Was able to obtain a copy of Night Digger finally.

Interested to know what you think of it, Tom. There was a period of time when this movie (entitled The Road Builder here in the UK) aired in the small hours of the morning on TCM. Far too late for me to watch.

Both. ^^ Or to be more precise, QoS is an absolutely brilliant sequel to CR, and Daniel Craig is an absolutely brilliant Bond, too.

The main problem I see with Craig is the same problem Timothy Dalton had.....NO CHARISMA!

  4. What?! shocked

I agree that Connery, Moore, and Brosnan had that little extra that made them perfect Bonds, but whatever everyone else said, I liked Dalton´s approach, and Craig is exactly that times ten.

Indeed. I haven´t watched QoS yet, but the first thing I thought after watching Casino Royale was: Craig is THE Bond.

No I think he's saying he saw "RV" starring Robin Williams, and he bonded with it.

    That's touching. kiss

Craig is certainly in the Dalton mould but just like him he's charisma-less. Craig doesn't even look British, he looks more Slavic.

This will make him perfect in Defiance. wink
I'm hoping with his 3rd Bond they will let the character mature some before the next outing. Allow him to be less military and more... suave. I'm also hoping they will go with a new director and go for less action and more dialogue, plot, spy stuff.

Seeing the gun barrel scene at the end was simply amazing. I'm also hoping they place that at the beginning of the next film.

I loved Layer Cake. That is probably the film that got him the chance to be Bond.

I have not seen Enduring Love though...

I was in a WWII mood the past week so I've watched:
Force 10 from Navarone- feels much like where eagles dare
The Desert Fox- I love James Mason, and in this film he plays one of my favs from history
Enemy At the Gates- Ed Harris is excellent
Downfall- very well made, emotionally devastating to watch though
