And we got another 6 inches of snow, yikes
Welcome to the North Tom!
I heard that in Edmonton (Alberta, Canada), they broke a record yesterday and it was a staggering minus 47 degrees during the night.
During the day, it is only minus 28. Double Yikes.
Are we talking Celsius here? If so, that makes Norway feel like bloody Egypt in comparison.
And what does that make Greece look like? Hell?

It was annoying here in North Wales also. I kept looking outside throughout the evening but the sky never cleared - even by 2.00 am.
It seems that you also remember several recent events such as this being blighted by the British weather.
Always the optimist, I'm hoping for some snow this winter. The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

Oh well, at least I didn't miss it, the sky seems to be always cloudy everytime there's a cosmic event worth watching

I'm guessing he means to home from uni. Same for me... except I'm not keen about driving back in this weather or indeed going home at all. I'll be glad when Christmas is over. -

It's outrageous and silly indeed. However, talking about over-doing it...

Well, it certainly distracts from the fact that Israel is still building walls and create annoyances between nations themselves.Kazoo -

I doubt anyone was following it other than people I know, but the amount of snow we had thisafternoon caused chaos, and I've been updating my journey home live on Facebook.
What is normally a 4 mile, 12 minute journey took me two and a quarter hours.

Phone calls, playing games, taking photos, going on Facebook...all highly illegal while driving, but what the hell... I had the windows open at one point as they were all steaming up and I couldn't see. Blasting out Godzilla from the stereo seemed like the sensible thing to do.

Although there doesn't look to be much snow in quantity, it sure looks like a bit of chaos there.
