Yeap, this was the second landing, after they screwed the first one and wrecked the poor plane
Just proves you never get the full true picture. Just viewing it I saw it as part of the undercarriage being stuck which would make it seem the pilot made a heroic landing

Details are scarce right now, but there has been a plan crash in Sudan. More than 100 are said to have been killed when the plane went of the runway after landing.

Whoa! I'd love to take a ride in that. It'd be interesting to know the costs involved in such a project.
In other news, I'll be leaving in less than a day for the Land of the Rising Sun and will be traveling on one of these, one of these, and one of these! Very exciting right now, but I'm not sure I'll feel the same way when it's all said and done (17+ hours of flying in a day....).
I was originally supposed to fly out on a JAL 777, but had to change my plans. It'll still be exciting to be on a 777 though. -

I'd love to expand now mate (and i will as soon as i get back) but right now i gotta hit it 'cause it's 00:10 am and in about 7 hours i have to be at another town, general hospital to take blood tests. I have a nasty polypus at my left vocal chord for about year now and it's been a major pain in the ass, right now i can only whisper, no voice coming out at all and with no warning, it just comes and goes. It has happened (total loss of voice for a couple of weeks or so) 2 or 3 times 'till now and in a couple of days i am going to have it removed via surgery. I don't know when i'll be back but i am sure going to miss the board and you guys
Take good care, have lots of fun and stay as close to SEXY BABES (women AND planes) as possibleLove Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -
