I have a problem with that beach though D,.......it's HORRIBLE!

Great for planes obviously, in fact I doubt there's a better vantage point on Earth for civilians to watch commercial aircraft at seriously close quarters. cool

Woah, nice. My favourite type is a long stretch along the coast where I can use a jet ski. Hell, they're so much more fun than driving cars! tongue

Yeah, you can hire all that stuff from various parts of that Island. Koh Phi Phi is still recovering from the tragedy of the 2004 Tsunami.

I stand corrected - getting a jet ski and putting a light on the front on it and driving around in some dark caves. Now that would be awesome. Could make a great scene in an action movie too if you add in more jet skis and some guns! wink

I do prefer my beaches more wild and unspoilt though, like here....

Though our own Alan lives in Wales I believe that this beach is a quicker drive for me than for him?

    The Gower is gorgeous.

In some tiny little town in the south of England. It's pointless, there's nothing to do here at all.

One of my favourite beaches is on the Isle of Skye:

    http://www.lovetoescape.com/images/rr/3 … 0Beach.jpg

Another beach on Skye that's worth a visit is this one:

    http://www.britainexpress.com/scotland/ … 002100.jpg

But as the web address suggests, this beach is not a sandy beach, but us entirely composed of crushed shells.

Oh, and a beach on the north coast of Scotland:

  1. You should get back up there now that the bridge crossing is toll-free!

Though it'll never be the same now that the ferries don't run:

I used to live in Bracknell (for my first 18 years) which is very close to reading, although I am now in Bath, which is not so near., but I reckon that I would know where you live reasonably well!!

What good town in the middle of nowhere would be complete without a mental institution. wink

Crowthorne is so boring though. rolleyes
  4. well I lived in bracknell, population 70,000 ish, nightclubs...0 (although Bath is not that much better, at least it has some). Still when Coral Reef, John Nike Leisure centre and the bowling alley/cinema complex all in one town...there is at least something to do.
