    Thank you D, those were amazing pics!

    The very first pic of the Harrier's over mountains in Wales reminded me of my own experience while hiking in that country, I saw a Tornado flying supersonic through the valley and I was HIGHER UP than the jet was, I was actually looking DOWN on it!!! shocked , a truly awe inspiring sight! cool I had my camera on me but it was gone before I could even begin to think of taking the lens cap off.

    I'm not a plane spotter ( honest guv, I'm not! wink ), but when you've got a huge flying beastie sitting on the runway a mere 10 minute pushbike ride away it's just gotta be seen cool

    This one and the Stealth fighter must have caused thousands of so called 'UFO sightings' back in the days when those planes didn't 'officialy' exist.

    My favourite plane is the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, a plane that to this very day still holds the world speed record for a jet powered aircraft at over 2000 MPH....your modern Euro-fighter, F-22 etc etc come nowhere near close to this early 1960's bird when it comes to speed.
