    Annete Focks - Dschungelkind

Exceptional. With other works like Ostwind, Night train to Lisbon, Simon and the oaks, this composer should really get more work.

OSCAR NAVVARO - La Mula (2013)

My God, last year was such a fantastic year for film music, so many good scores.

Then changed to WATARU YOKOHAMA - Soul Sacrifice

Again from last year. From that guy who sounded too much like John Williams when he broke through wink This is fantastic, orchestral and thematic like very few scores to date. Choral work is also very impressive. Must-have.
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

Pretty good. I hear influences from other composers, particularly Michael Nyman.

Half way through and to be honest I'm finding this totally un-engaging, dreary and boring.

Seriously? the main theme is incredibly beautiful! You have to relisten when you're in the mood smile

I remember people praising it before and this was my second listen. I'm afraid it isn't for me. It's like listening to wallpaper paste drying.

NP: AFTER THE DARK (Nicholas O'Toole & Jonathan Davis)

Electronica-influenced, combining eerie textures with occasional funky beats. This was a nice surprise this year.

I'm not sure what that means, but after having played it through another time, I think my evaluation was a bit off. This really doesn't hold up very well over the course of its running time.

Because it starts off promising. I was half way through when I realised I'd listened to it before. It isn't for me and I won't play it again.
