Final proof that you can never be too sure if Nautilus likes something or not. Even when it seems like a closed case

“We also wanted an epic musical soundscape to compliment our spectacular production design and big action set pieces, and we also wanted to be able to downshift and be small and intimate. Lastly we wanted a score that felt Chinese in its orchestration but was accessible to Western audiences. Zimmer and Powell’s beautiful music enriches and deepens the emotional experience of watching ‘Kung Fu Panda’ in ways we could not have imagined.â€
Wow, even if this is a "Varese-like" description, it´s all I needed to look forward for the score. And no damn songs!

The idea of a "Music Inspired By" album is still on the table. They can always put songs together for a CD, even those that weren't even in the movie. Didn't the do that for The Road To El Dorado?
I don't like to think that way, but then I haven't seen any score albums from "Universal Music Group". -

Oh, there are lots. Doesn't UMG own Decca and various other score-friendly labels? -

uum...I don't know tbh. I thought that maybe when a label owns "various other score-friendly" subsidiaries, then it would release the stuff under those labels, not something else.
They may be right about the absence of songs in the movie, but Google this keyword and see what you can see:
--> Rain participates in “Kung Fu Panda†OST
Is this the first or the last song to be included on the CD? -
