Williams writing music for dinosaurs more than 30 years before JURASSIC PARK. Imagine the T-Rex attack of that movie with this music! :D

    Hi everybody,

How many of guys had desire or expectation that John Williams would return for the Harry Potter series?

I personally had huge expectations that John Williams should return for the final Harry Potter movie. But it was huge disappointment. If not Williams, which composer you have recommended personally to score final Harry Potter movie, apart from Nicholas Hooper?

I don't think he'll return; they're taking the franshice to other directions anymore.

I know that he won't return, in place of his whom do you think a composer who can replace John Williams, apart from Hooper?

  3. I don´t know, I always wanted to know what Zimmer would have done with the material, but if we talk about the more classic score approach, I won´t need a second to vote for James Newton Howard, and this is why: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaPszoK0g4Y

    Make that crappier.

I'd love to hear what Giacchino or Trevor Jones could do with the franchise; or even Elfman and Chris Young.

If they want cheaper than Williams, they could at least go to someone like Bruce Broughton or Joel McNeely. You know, someone who knows how to score a film.

Are you out of your mind? Does the fluffy teenage audience know who these losers you mention are? Or even if that wasn't an issue, will they like their music when they're listening to it along with their nachos, pop-corn and coca colas in the theater? Sheesh

You think? Thanks. I was looking for something better out there, like The Hand of Fate, Part 2 layered over some nice Trio friendship images, but this was all I could find (beside some Peter Pan tracks which really didn´t fit too well). I mean, this is a great Howard track, but maybe a bit too over the top with the choir and stuff, but there you go.

it almost works completely, but it has something that sticks with the visuals
    nicely done

sometimes you're surprised how well something works, even if you think it will not work at all
example 1, Harry Potter on the tones of Snow Falling on Cedars smile
