I heartily enjoy the company of few online friends whom i do consider true friends of mine and with whom i share a lot on a daily basis. I really think that if we meet in person, like i already did with few of them back in 2006, Soncinemad, there won't be the slightest difference as when you're meeting up with "regular offline friends". It's either on, or off for me, nothing in-between and since one is my friend, i value everyone the same

Hey, I can already smile about it now!
Thanks for your reply. I feel better today anyway.

And finding balance between spending time with online friends, offline friends and time alone can be difficult! I don't always notice immediately when I'm out of balance. Just a weird feeling of... something's not right, but what?
You make costumes?
[EDIT] Oh, I see something in your profile now.

Glad to see you're feeling better today.
I think the worse feeling is realizing that something's been off-balance for so long now that it's practically become normal.
Yup, indeed, making costumes is my #2 hobby (just after film music, of course!
). I wanted to make sure I chose a profile picture of me doing a character that movie affectionadoes here would recognize, so I settled on Clopin. I need better pictures of my Kuzco costume though: I would've wanted to pick a shot of him.''The mandate, as well as the benefit, of responsibility is the ability to tell when one can afford to be irresponsible.'' - Me -

Heeeeey!!
I'd wish I had more time to post these days! I can't even read it all anymore, something I always did before.
I see this thread regularly updated, I wish it shouldn't be so much. You are all fine people, with some great friends, some which I still need to meet!
All the best and good lucks and positive vibes (and kisses for the women

Hi Bregt! I see you're our resident admin of the site? Glad to meet you! Don't worry, as much as we have the occasional reason to gripe about life in general, it just proves we're good and human. (or humanoid at least) And we all have film music to lift our mood!
Unless of course you're listening to Silence of the Lambs. Not the best mood-lifter, that...''The mandate, as well as the benefit, of responsibility is the ability to tell when one can afford to be irresponsible.'' - Me -

By the way,Steve If you visited the "world of soundtracks" site you could download some scores via rapidshare until you put your financials back on track!

Cheer up, Stavi. We can't help everybody. Sometimes even we can't even help ourselves. That's just being human, I guess

Hm, I don't agree. I think we can always help ourself. We just cannot change circumstances and certain conditions. If there's anything we can try to control, it's how we think and act and therefore how we feel! -

I agree Bregje. We can always try to help ourselves and others as long as the one we try to help is willing to accept. If not it has a big impact on the way we feel and therefore think.Ta least this is the case with me.Whatever you gaze rests on,do not use your vision, but the eyes of your soul...She knows better... -

I agree with you both: we always can try to help ourselves, but that doesn't mean we necessarily will. Sometimes we're in that kind of spiraling mood that has to be allowed to get worse before it can get better. Wallowing in self-pity for a while can be an indulgence, like comfort food. One must be given the time to mope if need it. I know I sometimes do. Then I shake myself out of it when I'm good and ready.

Dang, Thor, I must've given you the cold I had last week. Nevermind the different continents and all... Sorry about that.

Ohhhhh... so that's why my cold lasted all week? I was missing one of those key ingredients. Guess which one. *sigh!*
