    NUTTERS!!!

Just back from shopping which takes me through my local park where a scary nut-job is ( was? ) scaring people, men, women and children with his aggressive ranting ( almost his exact words...'Britney Spears Britney Spears Britney Spears....smack crack smack crack smack crack...fucking council fucking council fucking council' and when he caught someone's eye threatening to 'knock you the fuck out' all while walking in odd patterns in an aggitated state ), I overheard someone on a mobile asking for the police so hopefully this crazy has been cleared up now.

    They are everywhere!

Just the other day, I was buying my regular groceries in the local store and there was this guy, no more than 25, I guess, in purple pants humming or whistling the American national anthem without stop, really loudly. I bumped into him at least 4-5 times on my round through the store, and he was still humming the theme. Enough even to drive ME insane. Just when I was putting my stuff on the counter, he JUMPED in front of me, exclaiming "rush you to the counter, eh? rush you to the counter?". I calmly replied "Be my guest!", but then he apparently lost interest and buzzed into the store aisles again, still humming the American national anthem. He wasn't as threatening as your guy, but certainly as looney. dizzy
    I am extremely serious.

Still the kind of people who can be threatening to some women or older people, even though they may not be violent.

I think every town / city has it's share of nutters, some harmless some not so.

I think the guy I saw earlier had some mental health issue!?

Because of the tooth breaking I had to have 1/2 of it taken out yesterday and also found out that a root canal I had done in 1993 is going bad (wasn't 100%) sealed and infection is setting in. Yikes!

What they do is reclean and reseal it. The danger is because in the initial process of having a root canal the nerve is killed, thus little feeling. Apparently I've had the infection for a couple of months and haven't known it.

Due to heavy snow fall, among other things, I had to wait THREE AND A HALF HOURS for my flight at the airport in Bergen tonight, one of which was INSIDE the over-crowded plane, with stuffy air and nagging children. Torture.

Work-related, Oslo-Bergen-Oslo in the same day. Not much time to go sight-seeing, in other words. Plus it was snowing too heavily to see anything anyway.

Indeed. It was the maiden voyage of my iPod, even in its current, messy state. I just wish I had better earphones to lock out the 'nagging children/machine noise' bit. But the good thing was that i could have it out in the open, unlike the embarassment of my ol' discman, changing discs etc. shame

A bunch of drunk wankers decided it would be a great idea if they started kicking our front door on their way home from the pub last night.

The only consolation is that it probably hurt their feet a lot more than it hurt the door, which is made of thick steel and appears to be completely undamaged despite their best efforts. Rather unsettling though, being woken up to the sound of that.

Unfortunately that means you're banned, as is your boss.
