    News on the oven!
The technician came today to fix it and he did but along with that he made a move on me!!! shocked
That's when I remembered Tim's advice and was about to put his head on the now working oven but he left. Lucky for him!

It's a Voxon hon. I didn't have money for a more well known one but I'm pretty pleased by it regardless of what happened.

It dates back to the 15th century and a heretic who was burnt at the stake, a German, his name sounded like "goose", I'm sure this can be looked up!?

Well, it's just ONE theory, but a questionable one.
Fact is no one actually knows where the saying comes from: it appears for the very first time as late as 1851 in some street song.

There's another theory stating it's somehow conected to the fairytale of the goose with the golden eggs, which sounds interesting. But again: no direct links, so it's all just conjecture.

I have somehow fallen almost 200 posts behind Marselus and even franz_conrad is keeping me off the Top Ten Posters list. I clearly need to abandon my long-held principle of only posting things of great importance, and take a leaf out of their book.

Not so much annoying me right now - but rather pissing me off big time - is the fact that I submitted my UCAS application about two weeks ago and yet my old head of year from college has failed to attach my reference despite a barrage of emails to remind him and now I have missed the deadline for equal consideration. I really can't believe his laziness - he wrote the damn thing in November! Now I'm either going to be extremely lucky or completely screwed. Thanks a lot sir.

Some weeks this feeling shifts so much with me, that I actually feel better on the work days because that means the days off are coming. And on my days off I already feel bad because the work days are coming.

I really need to enjoy my time much more. And my work. And especially the days before work.

Isn't it interesting (and maybe slightly worrying) how much we tend to occupy ourselves with what is to come, or even what was, rather than what is?

Well. At least it's better (I think) than some of my friends' considerations which revolve more around what one has. slant

Yeah, I have this line somewhere 'reality only exists here and now' to look at. It's a good one to think of when you're hyperventilating, hehe. I also have another good one lately 'I trust in life' it helps me surrender to life. And when that works, it feels so good. Everything is OK, nothing to fear. Even if the worst things would happen, it would still be OK.

Unfortunately that feeling doesn't last long enough haha. I'm exercising a lot though. It's a wonderful feeling to be without fear.
