I'm glad you're still with us, Tom.
You probably know it, but I just want to stress the importance of omega-3 fatty acids. It's no wonder those eskimoes never have cardiac problems.

I was very much a fish eater, still am. I fell into the trap like many Americans of more is better and devoted my life to the job with 10 hour per day shifts six days a week no vacation or time off. I had accumulated 423 hours of comp time. Loved my work to a fault.
I tell myself every morning I'm grateful to still be here. Today my life style has changed and while I don't have everything I want I certainly have everything I need.

That's great to hear, Tom. Life indeed is good, if one remembers to relax and enjoy it to its fullest. Good thing we have film music to make life so great living.

I certainly am grateful for both film and classical music in my life. I do pretty well handling the elephant type issues in my life but when it comes to the ants like the creation of a new thread and the bashing I get as a result of it I'm still working on things like that.

Anyone who still thinks you can actually go Christmas shopping at the last minute without hassle, pretty much deserves what he gets!!!

What's annoying me currently is George Michael's "Last Christmas". During Christmas the radio was on the entire time, playing that damn song at least 500 times over the course of these 2 past days.

Not so much an annoyance but since this is a thread for negative feelings...
A local man has gone missing from a beach - literally a couple of kilometres up from where I am staying - in a suspected shark attack. The victim's son claimed to see thrashing in the water before a massive cloud of blood appeared. All day the area has been filled with boats and helicopters searching the vicinity for any signs of the man. It's a horrible incident in itself but when I realise that it has happened right on my doorstep, it becomes really quite disturbing. It appears as though it is never safe to go in the water. I can see the ocean from the balcony and to think that the man is out there... *shudder*.
