    I failed miserably with Super 8. But that did come out several weeks before the movie in the UK. At least with this I have a chance.

    (Knowing my luck, it will be out on iTunes on Tuesday anyway.)

    VERY nice.

    I really like the design, the format. Very smooth, very readable, very slick and modern look.

    ....but I do miss the rotating CDs which were so very cool. shame

    But....is this now Giacchino's official site?
    I can't find any reference to this being a "fan site, not connected to..., not endorsed by...., bla bla bla"?

    Thanks for the comments guys. I really don't want to think how many hours (probably days) went into this. Many weekends of sitting in front of a screen.

    If you spot any bugs, do let me know!

    If the rotating covers are missed that badly, I may have to bring them back. wink

    Oh, I dunno.... to make sure some massive team of Hollywood lawyers doesn't team up with RIAA to hit you with a multi-million dollar copyright infringement lawsuit, making you elgible for extra-legal extradition to the US to be tried and sentenced there?

    No, not really. I've met him twice in Ubeda where he has been really friendly and appreciative, however I only have the contact details of his assistant who I have e-mailed on occasion but often do not get replies. Fair enough - they're busy people - I suppose I'd just have expected some kind of contact considering the amount of time I put into this. Oh well.

    John Powell doesn't do interviews. I think I've seen session photos for about 1 score. It would just be a bunch of soundtracks. At the end of the day, maybe I'll do this, but it isn't high on my priority list.

    I really want to do this properly, but I feel the TV-ripped music isn't good enough. I'll try and message Michael and see if I can get a hold of any clips of the missing pieces. I did ask his assistant whether this would be possible a whole ago but didn't hear back.

    Saw the film last night in IMAX. Loved the presence/type of heavy percussion throughout the score as a nod toward Elfman's first score. I really loved the film. My favorite since the 1st one.
