... yeah I prefer the landing zone. I finally got to go there a couple of years ago. One of my favorite moments in history. I love world war II. I just really love the whole time period. Anything 30's and 40's is awesome.

I find the history of World War II fascinating too. My "favorite" events though happened in my own country. What do you know about the war in Poland?http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

I know that Germany's invasion sparked WWII. The Polish army fought, then retreated waiting for assistance from the allies. However, Russia invaded from the east and Poland was occupied for quite some time. They were very highly mistreated. There were concentration camps there. About 20% of their population died during occupation. I also know they had strong resistance groups throughout the country. And I know their royals catch a bad rap for the situation. And I've heard how they interbred. This is an area I need to read up on more.
I love the North Africa Campaigns. I have enormous respect for Rommel. I studied a lot about his life. And I love the European campaign. I'm not as fond of the Pacific though. Something I need to study more. -

Yes, indeed. What kind of genres do you right. I make films with my friends and right short scripts from time to time.
I'd be interested in reading some of your stuff? -

I have to learn to write shorts actually...
What I write... Depends, now I am working on a sports drama taking, interestingly, largely place in Omaha (the city, not the beachhead ), namely swimmers.
My most recent script is a feature-length psychological drama about a disturbed 12 year old French girl opening up on a trip to my country. My first serious feature which I wrote being 16 was supposed to be a war drama, indeed. But now that I look through it, I haven't read a better comedy for a LONG time! Maybe not B-movie, class, but think of a kid writing something WITHOUT decent knowledge of the language spoken in the period AND without knowledge of facts (as absurd as an SS Major giving the power to rule to a Wehrmacht Private...)
Yeah, why not, could send you something, since I started to write in English recently.http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

That must be the least exciting thing I've ever seen.
I think the main reason people drool over her is because she's in the company of old ugly politicians all the time. Anyone's a looker in that company.

Going back to WW11 for a moment. If any of you haven't seen it the Ken Burns special is worth a watch as well as the music he chose. The Copland Clarinet Concerto is excellent.

Must say I felt sorry for Palin during this interview. She looked to me like she was about to cry. I think she's under alot of pressure, and it's beginning to show.
I found her a defensive choice, and also very risky choice to begin with, and I think McCain will lose, partly because of that choice.

Well at this point both of them wanted to take credit for and approve a bill that failed to pass. Somewhat quiet now.
