For some reason I still don't own this score. I'll have to remedy that soon.

The opening string/trumpet section from Battle of Christophsis (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) is stuck in my head right now, and has been for the past couple days. Not that that's a bad thing... punk
  1. A little part of the Dark Knight =>

    I'm Not A Hero from 2:40 to 3:58

That rythm, so dark, doesn't want to leave me...

You should! And then listen to it from start to finish.
It's kind of impossible to zap through it anyway because the album contains four suites, but it is such a good listen if you really take the time. I've just listened with the headphones and simply can't decide what my favourite suite is nor what my favourite theme is, it's all beautiful and perfect in my opinion.
  2. Yeah, I find the way the album has four tracks only sucks big time. One day, I´ll edit it into an album with properly seperated tracks. It´s worth it.

And I think it's not that difficult? There are many spaces in between where I thought 'This would have been a good moment to start a new track!' Actually it sounds like seperate tracks put together.

Well at least it's not a Varese album with one cue cut up into three tracks for no reason but to make the album look longer *cough* Horton Hears A Who! *cough*. wink

Legend: Hand of God´s Main Theme. In its many arrangements, specially addictive is its epic version once you slash a particularly bitchy beast / demon.

What Shall We Die For ("Hoist The Colours" theme) from Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End (Hans Zimmer). The theme is stuck fast in my head today; I was humming it while walking outside, studying, reading and even eating lunch. Addicted!!
  3. A synth motif from Horner's Another 48 HRS. To my shock the score is actually listenable!

  4. I don't actually, but if anything annoys me in the score it would be the shakuhachi.

Watched it again with my wife yesterday. Now it's really stuck in my head!
The music works so well in key scenes! Actually, in all scenes. Brilliant stuff! cool

For the longest time I used to refer to Horner scores as the Horner bodhran 'n' shakuhachi band. He simmered down a bit now, I think. Come to think of it, he's not really doing much of anything these days, is he? confused

This week I've got this one particular piece of music from a mythological TV programme here absolutely stuck in my head. It doesn't have even a songs CD release, score release not even close... but this dramatic sounding piece, composed almost entirely of strings, got me hooked on, even though it's not even a minute long! I liked it so much that I ripped it off the TV audio track yesterday and after a lot of pain (it had tons of SFX and dialogue) I "decoded" the notes and made my own re-recording using FL Studio. If anyone wants to listen -

Anyone can recommend me any similar scores? smile biggrin

So, you're saying I should not play it, unless I want to hear a catchy song with a very good voice?

I would say make your own mind up Bregt tongue wink

I didn't mean her voice on this song ( it does sound slightly off? ). I've heard her stuff elsewhere and she's a talented lass.
