Hmmm...interesting (the latter i mean) wink Thanks!
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.
  4. "9,000 Needles"
    Laurence Tolhurst & David Robbins
Source: confirmed via the director, after being curious if Robbins was replacing the other; nope -- working together on the score. Tolhurst used to be a drummer for the British band The Cure.

Looks interesting if you ask me.

Apparently ARR has not yet signed onto this project so I don't know how reliable this Variety article is.

  12. Reports are that Matt Bellamy, "Muse", will be scoring/co-scoring "Clash of the Titans" with Armstrong.

A score cue he did for a film otherwise scored by others:

I really really like Bellamy's track, it shows a lot of potential.

I have to say though that what a shame Herrmann's natural successor Elliot Goldenthal isn't scoring this.

Was that a matter of choice or is this going down the X-Men and Constantine's pathway?
  13. Considering Armstrong worked with Rahman a couple years back, and was going to work with someone (I think MAssive Attack) back when he was going to score a movie he didn't end up scoring, I think Armstrong might like this kind of thing. Could certainly make it better than Hulk.

  14. "The Fifth Mafia"
Kevin McDaniels (despite IMDB.com having this in future projects for David Williams)

    "Just Wright"
Cool & Dre (yeah, they're scoring)
Source: news report. Also says they are the music supervisors, so I imagine rap will be in the film...

Shame, i would have loved to hear another work by the composer of DISTRICT 9. SPeaking of which...is it his first big feature? Does he have any other scores released under his names and perhaps any comments or reviews?
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.
  17. Yeah, I meant Clinton.

The replacement compsoer has some nice cues on his MySpace, worth giving a shot I feel.
