Oh, a piece like "O Magnum Mysterium" takes weeks to write, and there is a lot of tweaking done... On the other hand, many film demo cues I've done actually only takes a couple of hours. I finished "Space Landing" ( http://www.mikaelcarlsson.com/audio/spacelanding.mp3 ) in an afternoon (and yes, maybe I should have spent a little more time on it but hey, I just did it for fun!)...

  1. Another piece -- longer by a minute than the longest one revious -- featuring marimba and steel drums, and about four other things:

At least we're getting closer to guessing your age.
  2. Oh, try to have some fun with your music and that's the response you get. I see your creativity and ability to have a little fun must have died.

Why don't you do yourself a tremendous favor and simply not click into this thread anymore. Surely you must have other things to do.

My ability to have fun and be creative is as intact today as it ever has been. Your music is still very bad.

I still don't quite understand why there are so many threads about the same topic. I'm criticized for starting a thread on a review I feel should have its own topic and yet there are (3) of pretty much the same thing. Please explain to me as I am somewhat confused.

I don't think he's able to learn. There are talents and there are people with no talent. Now he knows how difficult it is to compose a piece, so he can give his "constructive criticism" to Zimmer, can't he?

Wait wait wait wait... let me get this straight, Justin. Krull is one of the "most overrated scores EVER, and one of Horner's most boring and "nothing" scores" yet... oh nevermind. This has to be an evil, evil joke.

That did make me smile, Justin, but I'm afraid not for the reason you would like to hear. I'm going to be perfectly honest with you and say that your music is not very good. However, I'm not sure any constructive criticism would be any useful either, since you're clearly just having fun on the keyboard, and as long as you're enjoying yourself, that's the most important.
    I am extremely serious.
