Ok, ok I give you a hint but no more! Last weekend I was in Athens after about a month... my boyfriend is there... alone... I don't need to say more!
I'm glad you are fine!
My brother spent a year in Bristol and he had told me the best about its pubs.
I, one the other hand, will go to a party. It's my best friend's name day today so we are celebrating!

Started in The Mall and had a couple of Butcombes and a lovely burger (with not enough chips) then moved on to three or four more places. It was an annual event with quizzes in each pub. We didn't win. -

I will be briely attending a little birthday do my brother is throwing in the pub.
Can't stay long, or drink much as there's too much work left to be done, so I need to be relatively fresh tomorrow!

I'm glad your brother had a great time in Bristol, it's one of the most popular student cities in the country and we really are spoilt for choice when it comes to great boozers. On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

A primary school class reunion, 10 years after graduating... I hope it'd be fun. In fact, I am waiting for a friend to pick me up

In a way... but the "prize" for winning is that you have to organise next year's event. We won it one year and it took so long to arrange it the next year (to find six pubs within reasonable walking distance which are large enough to cope with 150 people coming in fancy dress and doing quizzes, in addition to their usual Friday night crowd - and then having to write two or three different quizzes and at least one physical challenge in each pub - a lot of effort!) -

I had one a couple of months ago. It was nice to see that some of the girls had, erm... developed somewhat.

One guy got so drunk that two friends had to literally dress him and later drag him home. Another one asked me to give him all my Prozac pills, because that may stop him drinking. What the fuck is wrong with people?http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

Nothing a little prozac won't solve.

Really good night out tonight, mostly sat in the pub garden chatting with people and bumped into a few old faces I hadn't seen for some time.
Some interesting 'people watching' was to be done too, one girl flashed her breasts ( don't get excited, they really weren't that great ), a bunch of mostly girls on their way to a fancy dress party ( now these were HOT, why couldn't they have flashed their breasts
) and a couple of gay guys who were very entertaining and full of themselves....I found out an hour or so later just 'how full of themselves' they were when I went to the toilet and they both came out of the same cubicle sniffing and rubbing their noses. On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Fellow at work got swine flu. Boss called in a favor for me to work his shift.
Have to work from 11pm to 7am. Then come back and work the following night from 5pm to 11pm.
My sleeping schedule's going to be messed up.

Sounds like an, erm.., interesting night. I also had some curious experiences but I really am too drunk to type so I'll leave it there.
I did have a pretty good night though. Hit some of the pubs in Aberdeen and got pretty smashed. Made it back OK though and now I'm more than ready for bed.

I was in Bristol last night (sorry for not prior warning Timmer and James!) to see Big Boss Man on at Mr Wolfs - the smallest pub/bar I've ever seen. It was about as big as my lounge. But what a brilliant night!
Drove down to Bristol at about 4pm and got there for 7, and got to Mr Wolfs at about 8. It was dead quiet and even the band were hanging around so we asked what time they would be on which wasn't for another 3 hours. Even managed to get a little message recorded on the phone by them for a friend who couldn't go there.
I guess everyone else who went knew they wouldn't be on until later as the place filled up quickly as the night went on.
Regardless, the support band, The 45's, were so good I doubted Big Boss Man could top them. Luckily they did, and to make things better, the whole thing was free!
It finished about midnight and I figured rather than staying on the floor of a friends house there to drive back and arrived home at about 2.45am.
Pics here
Good night.
Edit: And I forgot to mention - we nearly got crushed to death by fit deaf girls who invaded our space by the stage. Regardless of looks I really did want to push them out of the way. Gah. But it wouldn't have been fair. -

Awwww Ant!!!
You should have told me, I had no prior arrangements with anyone last night and would have gladly met up with you for a couple of hours last night, I know Mr Wolfs very well and have seen numerous bands play there over the years, and yes, it's a tiny and intimate venue and has a great reputation ( for those that don't know, it's in the heart of Bristol city centre but tucked away up a side street not too far from the docks where we had the MT meeting ). Please let me know if something like this happens again.
Glad you had a great night

You bet it's tucked away. A cabbie dropped us off on the main road and pointed down an alley saying "it's just down there" but we spent a good fifteen minutes trying to find it. -
