    I'm going to the warm up party for a pub that's got new management, It's a pub that used to be a favourite of mine many years ago up until it got taken over by a very bad landlord and fell into a den of exceptionally ill repute ( gangsters and drug dealing with the police continually raiding the place ), I look forward to seeing some old friends and hope the new management have it all under control.

    If I remember correctly, Bruce Robinson ( Withnail & I ) couldn't write a word unless he was tanked up on wine ( can't remember if it was red or white? )

    The only downside is that it was so packed that it took at least 10 minutes or more to get served.

    They're having a Christmas pop quiz in two weeks time that I've promised to go to.

    On that lyrics round I knew only 2 out of 25 answers but our final tally as a team effort was 18 out of 25 ( all down to mostly just one member ), and remember, these were Xmas # 1 hits going back from last year to the late 1950's and the majority have nothing to do with christmas whatsoever.

    A pool contest tonight, and again it was a celebration of my late friend, I won it too! In the past if one of us got knocked out the other would be 100% in support ( unless we had to play each other which happened numerous times )...Geez would be proud! sad punk

    I went out for a few drinks last night and the pub I was in organised a pool contest, a few people there knew me and told the organiser that whatever he did he shouldn't allow me to play.

    I did and I won. biggrin

    Tonight I'm going to go out and drink properly, the walk home should be fun shocked

    Not me... too icy! The nearest pub isn't that far, but I don't fancy it in these conditions. So I'll stay in, crack open a couple of tinnies and watch a film.
