  13. James Labrie - Elements of Persuasion

    From the vocalist of Dream Theater, sort of a side project, a more straightforward album than the prog rock-fuelled songs DT normally produces. This is a metal album with the emphasis on heavy but equally on melodic hooks. I love the voice of James and it really shines here.

    From Braveheart to this... everything's possible in music.

    Nice CD, but I prefer their earliest material.
