Finally caught up with listening to Milk - Elfman and Largo Winch - Desplat today.
May I join the rest of you in saying "I'm impressed"! -

NP: Seven Pounds - Angelo Milli
First listen. I'm only on the opening cue and it kinda sounds like something Aaron Zigman would write when he has his Thomas Newman hat on. Quite nice nonetheless. Looking forward to the rest. -

NP: Let the Right One In (Soderqvist)
It's funny how it will take a score like this for a composer to get my respect. In a sense, there was nothing wrong with any of the previous Johan Soderqvist scores I'd heard. I remember writing a very favourable review BRODRE (and corresponding with him over instrumentation). But there's something about this sort of the score, and the skills it tests in a composer, that get my attention more.

NP: Pom Poko - Shang Shang Typhoon
I was watching Ghiblies: Episode2 (a collection of short films released on The Cat Returns DVD), which is very funny inside-joke comedy. And surprisingly this weird short has very nice score, written by one of the members of Shang Shang Typhoon. So I wanted to play Pom Poko soon after finished it.
I just found even Ghiblies had a soundtrack release...! Studio Ghibli Records rules!Labels are for cans, not people. - Anthony Rapp -

Masada Jerry Goldsmith
This is a 17 track version coming to about 50 minutes. It's awesome. -

He did the right thing. This forum needs intensive cleansing if you ask me, it's one to have fun but another thing to get carried away.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

That's kinda pissed me off a bit, so I need some Goldsmith...
Baby: Secret Of The Lost Legend Jerry Goldsmith

Well, I don't really care in the grand scheme of things. It's just a forum, I'm sure I can get over it and move on with my life.... *cough*.
But it's still a little annoying. -

I believe you'll find, when you think about it calmly, that there isn't another online place where people can freely express themselves and go off-topic whenever they want to as we all do here in mt, without crazy, freaky moderators turning in and switching the whole into an egoistical, self-centering attention-calling bitch-parade (something that made me leave many, many forums through the years).
But due to the fact of you knowing the specifics, which i hinted to you somewhere....else, Bregt did the right thing, imo and there's always the pm route as clearly this doesn't concern everyone reading it.
MT is a very big family, like which you won't find anywhere else!Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

I'm sure I missed something here but anyway if it involved a fight between you boys I don't really want to know!
NP: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button ~ Alexandre Desplat
I watched the film last night and I'm still in awe. Wonderful film, amazing music and excellent performances from the actors. I should have known though... the book was one of the best I've ever read.Whatever you gaze rests on,do not use your vision, but the eyes of your soul...She knows better... -

I didn't meant that. I found this whole Tom vs new threads already taking long enough. Lets just skip the thing, both Tom and his comments, and the others replying. For me, the forum otherwise doesn't need much cleaning.
Btw, I can sing for you to make it go away?Kazoo -
