Could easily have picked en-us instead.

I gave the Kitaro score a try, and all of you were right, it sounds amazing.
It needs another listen of course, because I'm not paying too much attention during work.
What do you hear? Nothing but the rain...
  1. Started a subscription at emusic.com and I'm taking advantage of the 50 free downloads...

    You would have thought!!

Having a little flick through the tracks attracted me to these scores - scores I hadn't heard of before. But they are all well worth a listen - particularly Lobster Wars. I'd recommend heading over to emusic.com and listening to some clips. Please!

I ordered me some choral terror from Christopher Young.

    Christopher Young - The Uninvited
Christopher Young - Bless the Child

I'm in doubt if I need to complete the list with Species... How heavy on choir is that one?

The (piano) main theme is very good, and very memorable. I saw it live in Ghent, and it was nice to hear how he subtly brought up this theme in some of the other scores that were performed.

    No, I think you'll find that's Kaczmarek.

Not very, but it's a better score than the other two (and this coming from someone who thinks Bless the Child is GREAT).

I'm on a Wiseman spree with a bit of Horner sprinkled in...

    Debbie Wiseman - Middletown
    Debbie Wiseman - Haunted
James Horner - Honey, I Shrunk the Kids

  4. Honey, I Shrunk The Kids - James Horner
    Outlander - Geoff Zanelli
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li - Stephen Endelman

Seems like the first Horner score I've bought in ages!

Dragonheart is my favourite Edelman score. I fell in love with it when I first saw the movie 13 years ago. Sweeping emotional themes, great action cues and even some funny moments. I wish Edelman could write music like this nowadays...

Have you heard the score? Haven't you seen the movie?

This is music they just don't make anymore, hence the reason this is such a big thing for us

Has Horner ever really done mickey-mousing? (I'm not familiar with HISTA, by the way, so I have no idea. I did order it though.)
