NP: Watership Down - Angela Morley (& Malcolm Williamson, Mike Batt)

This is a story I love the most in the world. And I'm happy it got such a beautiful music.

N.p. KLAUS BADELT - Rescue Dawn

A largely overlooked score that enhances the movie dramatically and makes for a beautiful listening experience. Full of themes, passion and melody.
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

The passion he injects such lame movies with is phenomenal. It never stopped to amaze me how beautifully romantic his scores for these movies are! Bliss.

The irish themes are especially beautiful! Lame or not, I cried my eyes out while reading the book. And yes, I've watched the film and had similar reaction in some parts of it. I'm a sensitive girl, what can I do? shame

I agree. Too bad Badelt doesn´t show this side of his writing skills more often.

It's quite impressive, really. A very mature score.

N.p. JOHAN SODERQVIST - after the wedding

No words can describe the feelings this man's music evokes to me; my most pleasant surprise of the recent years, along with Rombi and Yvan Cassar.

Lovely score, perhaps a little overplayed on my part... shame

    Largo Winch
    Alexandre Desplat

Perhaps my favourite Desplat score so far.

NP: The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning - James Dooley
    http://www.jimdooley.com/projects/film/littlemermaid3/

Haha it's really funny to hear bam-bam action music between Menken-ish disney sounds! biggrin

And what is this weird "I mixed up Chinese with Japanese music" sound? dizzy I haven't seen this video (and I don't want to do so), so I don't know why it's there.

Except that, it's nothing special but not bad. Main Title is nice, though Menken's Part Of Your World theme is the best part of it...

Demetris, do you have the 10-track version or the 20+ track version?

Fragile, touching, intimate and very sensitive listen; loved the melancholic, yet quite organic bits.

Just bought this, as well as Afterwards and Home following your recommandations on this forum, Demetris. But I'm first finishing The Soloist, though which is, so far, quasi perfect ...
