I'm just curious - how long does the bus trip from Madrid Airport to Ubeda take?
    I am extremely serious.

I couldn't say exactly (it takes me eight and a half hours from Barcelona) but I'd say two and a half - three hours aprox. Anthony might know it exactly.

Is that the only thing Doyle will play?

I'm looking into the costs these days. Mario (digikleuter) and I will probably attend, and perhaps BobdH as well. We're waiting for the final list.

Yes. He played in 2008 and 2009 and, as the organisation announced, thay don't want three hour concerts anymore. That's why they've limited the number of composers and pieces for each one. Still, I cant' wait for Lennertz and Giacchino!

    Festival Fees

    Hotel Rates

    Bus service for foreigner attendants

I´ll post the preliminary programme tomorrow. It's just gone public today.

I made the hotel reservation / transferred the administrative costs some weeks ago and received confirmation a couple of days later.

Cool! A film music party! What's that like?

I see the seminars already start on Monday. Do the composers also give such seminars? Are these the orange coloured ones, or are that signing sessions.

The orange coloured oned are the talks / conferences given by the composers. The yellow boxes are the film music workshop (Tuesday, 13 July – Thursday, 15 July ), aimed at composers, instrumentalists and music teachers, as well as people related with the audiovisual media on any of its forms. They are given by the guests.

The official CD signing session is on sunday, july 18 (12:00 - 14:00). It is quite usual to ask for a signature during all the festival, but the official session is on sunday.

Yes, I've always thought this is the most tiresome part of the festival for both the composers and the attendants (not that it is mandatory to go to it though). I mean, a CD signing session after a symphonic concert + party night? Ouch.

Indeed. Parties always finish late during the festival.
