Shall I reveal the answer, or shall we let the game run to tomorrow, so others can give it a go?

The composer, as far as I'm aware, scores for TV almost exclusively, but he certainly has the talent to be composer for blockbusters. He did contribute with a single piece for a blockbuster 3 years ago though.

I doubt hints about the movie will help, as I had never heard of the movie until just recently. I will mention though that it involves time travelling.

    The answer is.... (dramatic pause)

Richard Harvey's Les Deux Mondes, the cue is called "Au milieu de la bataille".

The blockbuster piece I mentioned above is the little choral gem from The Da Vinci Code, that I'm sure most here are aware of.

Harvey's score is rather epic and dramatic, but the movie is pure silliness(trailer).

Peter, what album of Harvey is that choral piece from Da vinci code from? Luther?

  1. It was composed exclusively by Harvey for the movie.

Cool! That movie sounds very interesting and fun. On my Netflix queue it goes.

Thor, do you not have the 2cd Delerue compilation? I thought most film score fans had it. Even then, the last few seconds were distinctly Delerue, no?

'fraid not. I don't have a lot of Delerue at all, even though - ironically - he has become one of my favourite composers. Once I get some finances working again, he's the one I'm going to check out the most, in addition to Zimmer.

I'd suggest starting with that 2-CD compilation when you do have the funds.

Since no one guessed the last one I've uploaded another clip. This time an easy one. I think people will guess it quickly.

  2. At least with the old style games you could hide the fact you didn't know some of the cues, but at least there were some that definitely rang a bell.
