Guess The Score : The Return
-

BP and Timmer, you've got the composer right. It's not one of his better-known scores but it is a beauty (from the 1990s). -
- CommentTimeJan 22nd 2010
Ahh, that explains it! Haven't gotten enough of his scores yet, and the ones I have I have been neglecting, so no wonder I couldn't recognize the composer style.
Drat! Is it Jacob's Ladder? For some reason I had assumed that was a synthy score. Just checking a clip on youtube shows how wrong I am. I think it's close.
-

Friggin'
Guess I need to buy the album of
The Emotion & The Strength compilation. I don't know what else to guess. It's not Fires Within since that has a Latina flavor. It's not Shadow of the Wolf since that's synthy. It's not Walk in the Clouds since that doesn't have the epic sound this clip indicates.
I give up! -
- CommentTimeJan 22nd 2010
OK, here's the clue - buying that album would not help! -

Fearless? -
- CommentTimeJan 22nd 2010
Nope...
The film is from the same country as its composer. -

Then it's Le Jour et la Nuit -

Haha good one! I think this will be the most common response found on this here topic. QUE ? INDEED !!!!"considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -

Haha! That's so many clues that make it obvious now by the process of elimination.
Great clip, James! I've never heard of anyone discuss that score. Do you have a review? How good is it? I'm tempted to seek it out. -
A plindboe speciality. I doubt others will get this one. It's Morricone's "Chi l'ha vista morire". One of my least favourite Morricone scores, but there are many morriconians who seem to love it.
This clip should be an easy one. Come on Thor and Ranietz, you can do it! Popular composer, and popular (or semi-popular) score.
I love this moment in the score btw. None of my clips are casually chosen.
