I am confident 'cause i really loved what he did with the Grudge. Was good, effective horror entertainment back then, before the retarded sequels and US remakes came along that is.

Btw there are some pretty effective plane-ghost stories around, running for anyone who believes this stuff or wants to prepare for the movie. Especially about parts by crashed planes re-installed later into new ones.

Here are some videos I took at Farnborough Airshow back in July.

  2. I was out for a walk on the Wirral this afternoon: a walk along the coast path looking out for any passing migrant birds.

But the highlight was seeing a Vulcan bomber travelling to/from the Southport airshow. Although it was not close it was still an awesome experience.

Here's some footage of the Vulcan at the actual airshow:

And some footage of the bomber at last year's airshow: http://youtu.be/EE4baMF7Q7M

And whilst I was looking for some footage I couldn't help watching some low flying footage too:

That is very true. I wish that there were more of these airworthy. Isn't this Vulcan kept in the air by "enthusiasts"?

I believe that is correct Alan. I saw it at the Fairford airshow a couple of years ago, an awesome sight.

That is correct and apparently it costs £32,000 a week to keep running!

In that case, just keep your eyes peeled for any eventuality!

I imagine though that the benefits vastly outweigh the negatives!

It's all relative I suppose - and what you define as being "good".

There's a few places in the UK I would prefer to live but I wouldn't want to live anywhere outside the UK.

I suppose everyone is different. I would imagine that if I had been as well travelled as yourself Tim then there may be several places that would appeal. But I have not tended to be off the beaten track too much.

There are plenty of places I would like to visit abroad, but to actually live there...it would be too much of an upheaval in terms of day-to-day living.

I can think of a few places I'd like to live, here and abroad. New Zealand is one of them though it is a bit 'home from home'. The problem with leaving the country is that I would desperately miss my friends.

Still nowhere near enough as far as I'm concerned and I still feel there's plenty of unfinished business in countries that I have visited.

Well I could live in many eu countries, the non-redneck non-fanatic us states, most of the uk, Australia as long as it is not snake-dominated, etc as long I had my wife with me, a job to pay the basics and a decent roof over my head. I have no over the top expectations from life. I enjoy the basics smile but I could never live anywhere in Asia, latin america or Africa and the Middle East / Arabic and Islamic countries I am afraid. Too wild cultural differences to accumulate I am afraid.

From what I've heard, Irish drink and have fun, generally lighthearted overall. If its true, I am sold ! As long as its not piss-poor-weather with rain and clouds through the entire year like the UK. Now that I think of it, I could never live in such a weather. Unless I turned into an emo.
