Yeah, as it has Norwegian involvement, it has been all over the media this evening. Some call this the greatest Norwegian contribution to evolution science ever, and the most significant discovery in the world (in the same field) of the last 30 years. Debatable, perhaps, but quite fascinating nonetheless. It looks like a stunning specimen.I am extremely serious. -

Why large ego?
It's actually a very interesting, though hugely ambitious, project with a LOT of potential.
I've fiddled around with it, and it's currently very mathematically-minded, and not very good with meta-questions or impressions and opinions (for example a value question like "what's nice about Amsterdam?" gets interpreted as "What's the distance between Nice (France) and Amsterdam (The Netherlands)?").
Wolfram Alpha looks good, is very interesting, but is still severely limited.'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

It does look very nice and does a good job at the math. There's lots of potential indeed! If only we had such a tool to understand and compute integrals back when we were in high school!
The large ego was in reference to Stephen Wolfram in general. He thinks he has developed a new kind of science and thinks too high of himself. -

Technorama’s Aluminum Facade Teaches About Wind Currents And Turbulence. In 2002, Technorama, a major science center in Switzerland, asked Ned Kahn to create an aluminum facade for its building, consisting of thousands of aluminum panels that move in the wind, teaching its visitors about air currents and the complex patterns of turbulence caused by them.
