Bear McCreary’s sweeping orchestral score for Da Vinci's Demons, featuring the Emmy® Award-winning Main Title Theme, was meticulously researched to accurately represent the time period, without being bound to it. The score combines orchestra, Renaissance instrumentation, choir and ethnic soloists with the renowned Calder Quartet and surging contemporary synthesis. “For Da Vinci's Demons, I looked to the real-life Leonardo for inspiration. He famously wrote backwards and forwards, so I decided to write music for him in the same way," said McCreary. "I wanted to write the Main Theme as a musical palindrome, so it sounds the same whether played forwards or backwards. The challenge was to balance that intellectual idea with the dramatic needs of the story. I think the end result works beautifully and would make Da Vinci proud." This Collector's Edition double CD features 12 bonus tracks not available on the digital album.

Well, there you are. Composed by Buddy Bregman, with whom I did a rather wonderful album back in 1998 called Swing. I knew nothing of the composing side of Buddy - he only did a handful of scores back then, but I was bowled over by Delicate Delinquent's music - filled with great themes and an opening that's literally ear-opening in that it prefigures the sound of L. Bernstein's West Side Story, which opened a year later. For me, this score was like discovering a real jewel and I hope people will like it as much as I do.

... one of my favorite Harline scores, I would be dancing an interplanetary jig. Whoa. Heaven can wait if it's Visit to a Small Planet! You know what's funny? I'll tell you even if you don't want to know - I saw Visit to a Small Planet at a sneak preview about three months prior to its release, at the Village Theater in Westwood. In those days, the titles of sneak previews were closely kept secrets and you didn't know what you were going to see until the film began - but for this one they put a caricature of Jerry in the sneak preview ad so of course I had to be there. I loved the movie back then and I LOVED the main theme. I saw the film two or three times after it opened and during its original run. Then I didn't seen it again for decades, but I could still hum that main theme to you, note perfect. I finally saw the film again about three years ago for the first time since 1960. Just before I watched it I hummed the main theme again - and then started the film. And it was note for note what I'd just hummed - now THAT'S how to write a melodically memorable theme! If you love theremin this score is for you. But it's the companion score that was the complete revelation to me. It's incredible.

"Digitmovies is proud to publish, for the first time on CD, in a de-luxe digipack edition, the OST by George Fabor for a commedia all’italiana genre classic, “Poveri, ma belli” (“Poor but beautiful"). At the time, an album (VOX VL 3200) with thirteen songs and a 45 EP (VOX VIP 31-020) with five selections were released. For our new CD lasting a total of 71 minutes, we had access not only to the master of the extremely rare original album, but also to the recording session in mono (the reels have been preserved in excellent condition after 56 years), which allowed us to include also the whole OST in the film version, since for the 33 rpm, the composer Fabor had created an assembly of various takes, with the aim of offering a better listening experience. The author created an orchestral OST that honours the city of Rome and its people, alternating a melodious main theme with a pleasant popular atmosphere and dance tunes such as mambo and Rock 'n' Roll."

"Digitmovies continues to ride through the sunny lands of the Italian Western publishing, for the first time on CD, in a complete edition, the OST by Gianni Ferrio from the film “Un dollaro bucato” (“Blood for a Silver dollar”). For our CD, lasting 53:00 minutes, we had access to the mono master tapes of the original recording session and to a mono reel, assembled at the time for a 33 rpm album that never saw the light, consisting of twenty selections (nine of which appear here for the first time ever). We also added new tracks with an orchestral background, the song of the single, and three rare stereo mixes discovered in a separate master."

Little is known about this film, aside from the fact is began production and quickly fell apart. Aside from a few press sheets and a partial script, much of the film has been speculated on and forgotten to history. Taken from a press sheet found in a warehouse in Rome, the tale unfolds as this:
