Does anyone know who played piano on Spanglish? I'm always wandering about it because all the orchestra members and soloists are credited on the album except the pianist... it is Hans himself, maybe?Labels are for cans, not people. - Anthony Rapp -

I would say it was Zimmer himself, yes.http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

Ah, so then he's uncredited! What a shame.Labels are for cans, not people. - Anthony Rapp -

He's uncredited for his composing work on first Pirates of the Caribbean. How cool is that. him being a ghostwriter himself?http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

A little something I made:

Judging for the clip, bad, very bad.Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you -

Is there no sound on that clip?Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -
- CommentTimeDec 17th 2008
That would be the idea, hence Justin's video of Zimmer's greatest hits. -
- CommentTimeDec 17th 2008
I thought so but i wasn't sure since i am at a pc with no sound, currently. I actually giggled at the joke a bit; i thought, coming from justin, i'd see something completely tasteless and more offensive. This was quite funny to meLove Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

Hasn't Thomas/Rudi Völler posted it here yet?

I bet Hans already read the script, and probably he did some suggestions on it or casting, and possibly he already wrote (or is writing) the theme!?!? (like he did on Spanglish)
I enjoyed all Brooks films (except I'll Do Anything, haven't seen it yet) and Zimmer's works for him. Spanglish is one of my favorite movies and its score is really important for me.

Depends on the pre-production and post-production, I mean, Zimmer plans to take the year off!
Maybe he'll make an exception for Brooks.http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

He even couldn't refuse The Simpsons Movie. How can he say no to Brooks?
He's capable of composing only one dramedy score and doing concert tour in one year, I thinkLabels are for cans, not people. - Anthony Rapp -
