When I went to a Games Live concert many a year ago in London, they played 'Baba Yetu' from Civilization IV by Christopher Tin. Not original, but very very enjoyable (unfortunately the version on the soundtrack is very synth dominated, but I can assure you the live version sent shivers down my spine).

I'm not sure I should add fuel to fire to the LION KING fans in here (I know Steven hates that), but check out this song cycle album from relative unknown Christopher Tin:

That first track definitely has a LION KING vibe.

Lots of other nice tracks there too. I recommend you to give it a listen.

Thanks for the link! I've heard it on SST, and liked it. Is it a new recording? Lately I'm interested in Soweto Gospel Choir.
The second track seems to be sung in Japanese but I only understood some words dizzy

The opening sequence of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is here.

The music is quite RC-ish, similar to Transformers and The Rock. Want! punk

RCP-military music at its best. nice theme by the way. nothing new but i think the score will be very effective in the game.

    Here's another link of it.

It sounds like someone doing a watered down version of the MV sound as done by Harry GregsonWilliams in his Armageddon day. Even Rupert Gregson-Williams did it better with Battlefield 2: Modern Combat. Let's hope that there will be better sounding cues in the game.

He's pretty good with lazzis too, though. He's one of the most fun composers I've heard in interviews.

Heitor must be doing the guitar parts of the score, most likely.

Oh! i thought he was maybe doing the catering services tongue

And Scorefanatic, Zimmer credited Pereira in the poster in " Riding in car with boys"

Anyway, Nancy Myers really loves this kind of letter (fonts) and colors for his posters!

I listened to it a while ago. The sound quality is pretty bad so I think it's not a promo, but a sequence of game rip files put together. It's very influenced by the Transformers score, and also sounds similar to The Rock and Crimson Tide in places (like the huge male choir and classic Zimmer French horns). Lots of electronic effects and Black Hawk Down-ish electric guitars too, more or less what I was expecting from this one, nothing really new. I guess there should be a release with the "special edition" game pack or something and if there is, I'll grab it. But not really too worried as it sounds just like a basic RC score to me. I'm looking forward to Sherlock Holmes more.
