The Big Gundown - Ennio Morricone
The full GDM release. Monaural (pity! Pity! Pity!), but still stunning. We may count ourselves very lucky to have so much material left. cool

Now THERE's a Celebrity Death Match idea: Jimmy Hill vs. Bruce Campbell
Chins at sixty paces! (It's not like they're gonna be able to get closer to one another anyway. Serious chin obstruction).

Still with this magnificent score, and up to the track La Resa.
Fucking BLISS. How come whenever we talk about hummable and memorable themes somehow Morricone never gets a mention? He's the MASTER of the theme!

I really do like this. Tyler's best in a while. But the album's just MILES too long.

You know how to edit tracks out of an album? That should solve the problem...
Me, I can´t get enough of any album I like.

NP: Karmen With A Happy End - Goran Bregovic

    Definitely bounce music.
Not my favourite Bregovic style (though very characteristic!), but shit it's hard to sit still to this music!

  3. Who is Goran Bregovic??

    The brother of Johnny Karambolovich?

Check out the soundtrack to La Reine Margot, his most mainstream work.

I'm not an album producer, I shouldn't have to. I'll never listen to it enough times to know which cues I would pick.

Because he's the one who should have produced the album properly in the first place!

    I'm the other one! biggrin

Comepletely with Southall here: it's not quantity I care about, but a careful and creative balancing of quality. There's nary a 74 minute album I prefer over an already issued 44 minute "highlights" album.
