Putting a smile on my sad face is Gomez who's fast asleep in front of the fire ( nothing like a fire to zonk a cat out biggrin ) and is dreaming, paws twitching, ears flicking, tail swishing, rapid breathing, lips a moving... cool cheesy

EDIT: He's just startled himself awake and is now washing his paws 'me, dreaming? hah! don't be silly, that's what I wanted you to think, I was having you on mate.

I can't believe the BBC is being so disrespectful. Why didn't they just say she's a devoted Christian?

Leaving for Germany tomorrow. A 12 hour train ride (InterRailing) through Northern Germany, with a three day stop in the Harz Mountains, followed by 4 days in Berlin, to celebrate NYE!

I hope I survive this train ride (the time tables on the German Bahn say it doesn't ride every day ... so we'll see if that is tomorrow the case or not).

I'll jump in a few time to see what's happening over here. wink

In case I won't be able to do that have a great NYE and such! wave

Amidst the chaos, comes one of the most heartfelt moments this year.

The rescue of 5-year old boy KIKI by New York fire fighters in Haiti, after he's been trapped in the ruins for 8 long days. The boy stretches his arms to his mum as he's being pulled out of the debris!

    Video of the moment:

That was really nice. The moment when he stretched out his arms: very human and touching.

I finished my thesis, and my defense was rewarded with an 8 (out of 10; say a B+).
So now I'm officialy a BSc (Bachelor Of Science... I think. I honestly don't care. I'm finished. I may pursue a master degree later. But not now. Not in the near future.)
