I don't know if it made my day ot it made me a bit sad. I guess it's both. Today was my last day as a teacher for this year. I've been glued to the TV for most of the day just watching the miners emerging at the surface one by one. It's so rare for the news to be dominated by a good news story.

I had completed an application a month before the semester started but since I was positioned as teacher the was no way I would go to the office after one and a half months of planning everything and teaching. But today I was notified that my application was accepted and I have to be there tomorrow morning. The office is here in Sparti and the "boss" is a good friend of mine. The thing is that the children found out that I was leaving and the got upset and I had to face them crying and being sad and it was really heartbreaking. Anyway, I'm looking forward to a new begining tomorrow!Whatever you gaze rests on,do not use your vision, but the eyes of your soul...She knows better... -
