I wish they would produce a DVD player of quality so that I could purchase it once and not have to worry about it. I've had this one for less than two years and the electronics are beginning to act up already.

Bad experience with someone in particular or just in general? Perhaps since I'm living near the school campus, I haven't been bothered much by those kinds of people nor have I even come across one.

I moved to a new apartment this weekend. It was exhausting. After all the hauling and unloading of stuff, I spent hours cleaning. And now I have a bad throat and feel weak. Anyways, I received cd inserts for the damaged Varese cds today so not everything was bad.

I could write a nice chapter on the idiots I've encountered in Minneapolis. And I call them idiots as they ride around on a motorcycle without a helmet as an example and say it is there god given write to do so. I merely suggested to one that he sign a waiver saying he would take care of himself if he suffered serious brain damage and he didn't like that at all. This is just one example. There are way too many people obese and they smoke and drink way too much. Another example. They love to go out and hunt and kill all sorts of things which I don't like either. Another example. I don't like religion forced down my throat either. Another example.

There's something very poetic about what you just wrote, Tom.

    First:

"I could write a nice chapter on the idiots I've encountered in Minneapolis. And I call them idiots as they ride around on a motorcycle without a helmet as an example and say it is there god given write to do so. I merely suggested to one that he sign a waiver saying he would take care of himself if he suffered serious brain damage and he didn't like that at all. This is just one example. ...then a brief:

    "I had a nice day."
    I am extremely serious.

Yeah it's a better place. I'm staying at a friend's apartment. It's a high-rise in downtown Minneapolis so the location is great. I didn't want to sign a year long lease since I'm looking to finish up soon after I land a job.

It was nice of Varese to give the inserts for free.

Thanks Alan! Thanks to a number of people on this site and others, I've been able to start selling a chunk of my collection (the good cds; not the damaged ones). I haven't had a chance to ship anything yet but I'll be finalizing things in the next couple of days. Feel free to take a look at my list and see if you want anything.

But Tom, if you didn't engage them then would they still be bothering you? I do see such people on public transport and in grocery aisles but I just mind my business and they mind theirs.
Obesity and America go hand in hand thanks to all the junk food. That's prevalent in every city.
  2. BP, I've had a quick look at your list and there are a couple of obscure title I might be interested in. Can you ensure that the status of the list is up to date? Cheers.

Some of the engaging of people are ones that I know as far as the helmet is concerned. The fat people especially here in this city is so painfully obvious as compared to California.
