And just acknowledges a previous post and doesn't actually contribute anything further to the discussion.

    I think I suggested a solution, didn't I?
If you weren't too busy hopping around the world and would get back to work rather than leave maintenance to the goodwill of the local population here (a dire recipe for disaster, chaos, anarchy and bloodshed if ever I saw one!), then maybe such excesses could finally be quelled!

We'll need at least two more to expunge the sins from this forum. As it would happen, I have a few candidates in mind...

No, for that you just get shot. Very different to being a scapegoat I'm afraid (though you do end up with ultimately the same fate... but that's a mere technicality that we shan't dwell on).

OK, HOW is it that even though I remain less than impressed with Giacchino's Star Trek as a score, I keep humming that little motif for days on end now?

    See.
That's why I am so frustrated with the man: I have always thought that the next Raider's March or Princess Leia's Theme would come from him...but rather than composing a full-blown explosive, classic theme in classic concert arrangement, he keeps on being pigeonholed into these three-note motifs.
    It's driving me barmy!

I know what you mean. At first I wasn't that impressed with his Trek theme (and to some degree, I'm still not), but it's been my most played and the most memorable theme from this year!? I love his score to Star Trek, yet there's much I could complain about. Argh!

well it certainly is a LONG review wink

But well written, even though I would never diminish a rating if it depends on a CD release or download. It is unfair such a grand release doesn't receive a CD release, but at least we can still hear it. If not we could go hunting for another promo.

    So good work Demonstar

It certainly got a bit overlong, I'll work on keeping them short in the future! I will also rectify the rating.

there's no problem in reviews being long, for some you can write more and for others you can't imagine what to write. So for me, a long review is never a problem, at least not to the point you go analyzing every single track.
