    NP: PS I love you

It's more "something to gotta give" than something by powell.

Anyway, the main theme is highly addictive, and "the meeting" (Ubeda's track) is one of this charming, tender and fresh Powell stuff. "To eari" with the electric guitars is good too..

I prefer other scores if Im in the same mood, but it's a nice one.

I´d say is the best score from Powell for this kinda film. Much better than "Gigli", "Forces of Nature", "Two Weeks Notice", etc...
Not a score that pretended to be something new or original (not that the movie demanded it anyway), but a charming and sweet one. A fresh and nice listening experience.
Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you
  1. NP: It's All True and Klimt by Jorge Arriagada

Very fine music from the South American composer.

NP: The Exorcism Of Emily Rose - Christopher Young

A superbly crafted and absolutely chilling score. The Exorcism is some scary shit, just hair-raising. Young really is the king of horror.

    shocked slant

    NP:Lost Season 3 ( 2cd's )

Ohhhhhhhhhhh..I have wait so many months to hear "Juliet is Lost", with the island's theme!

NP: LESS THAN ZERO - Thomas Newman

Very melancholic '80s sound, which I'm normally not too fond of, but am really enjoying right now in my current mood. Probably since it's just so vintage Thomas Newman, including some beautiful compositions for piano.

NP: Masters of the Universe - Bill Conti

Oh my gosh. I haven´t heard that one in a decade, and I am still amazed about the sheer fun this is. For this score, Conti indeed called upon the Power of Grayskull. It´s unbelievable what the guy who wrote Rocky composed for this geekfest. Though I love the whole album, the final three tracks alone are worth all the money. I never saw or read anything MotU, but the score evokes pure Dungeons & Dragons fun. I must have played the CD to death on those early roleplaying days... my god... childhood rememberances welling up. I need those 4th Edition books, now...

Oh Yeah! Masters Of The Universe is my favorite work by Conti.

Big, bald and brassy with beautiful string passages!

    NP:LOst S-3 (Giacchino)

This is the kind of realeases worth to buy!

The best music in the cd 1, the complete of the last 2 episodes in the Cd2.

CD1 is a fantastic listening experience, So touching like the first season and so rich than the second one.

"under the knife" is a really exiting action-Suspense track! But there are so many highlights....

"awed and Shoked","distraught Desmond", Ocean's apart, "Fetch your Arm", Aint' taling but nothin, Shambala, Juliet is Lost, Dharmacide....

(sadly, when juliet sees his sister in the tv is not realeased, though)

First proper play of MICHAEL GIACCHINO - Roar!

I tell you why people are being driven crazy over this: 'cause it has all the gripping energy, the rawness of the clearly-heard instruments (.e.g the brooding brass), the pure and clean-cut sound, the ACTUAL ARRANGEMENTS and ACTUAL THEME, and the unstoppable coolness that it's been long missing from film music lately. It doesn't need scientific explanations, it just sparks flames and carries a soul long forgotten in this area.
