X-Men III: Last Stand - John Powell

Noisy, but of a more or less enjoyable kind.
    Not Powell's best.
But it sure is BIG. And noisy.
    Very noisy.

I'm really looking forward to your opinion on the new Indy score. I'm ready for a skeptic reaction from you, but I'm still hoping you love it nonetheless wink

For Your Eyes Only - Bill Conti
Gorgeous main theme by Scottish lass Sheena Easton, and Conti providing a full-blooded adrenalin rush pulling out all the pop stops he can think of, creating an amazingly effective andenjoyable action score. I hate a great many things about the eighties (though not as much as about the seventies), but I don't hate this. smile

    JOHN MURPHY - Sunshine

Top stuff, haunting electronic minimalistic soundscapes, excellently functioning within the great movie it accompanies. Dark, moody, nostalgic, eerie.
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

It should've had a couple of hummable themes though. Would be a great one.

The last time I heard this one must've been ages ago. Good to come back to one of my first scores! I played this one endless times and loved that short 'The Legends Spread' cue. What a score!

There's no need to feel awkward about it of course, but telling everyone about it is another thing!
I prefer some secrecy over in plain terms any time.

NP: again Hans Zimmer and the Prague Philharmonic. It is still an entertaining set because it's diverse and a good listening experience. Although at first I thought some pieces didn't sound so well, I'm now used to it a bit and enjoying the 'compilation'.

I for one never would use the phrase 'scoregasm' (shit! I just did!), but then I'd probably punctuate my ecstacy with a LOLcat, which some would consider rather awkward as well, I guess... slant
