I'm really not sure Tom? My gut instinct is the same as Martijn's but I'm going to chew this one over.

Think this is a good one as long as the younger generation are familiar with and have seen the Chan material.

    TRUE OR FALSE!!!!!!!!

As many of you know Charlie Chan was a character created by Earl Derr Biggers and has been the subject of much controversy especially with the Chinese culture given the fact that no one portrayed Chan who was Chinese.

TRUE. I'm not familiar with the Chan character at all, but from the way you describe it, why wouldn't it be controversial? Same as with the chef in BONANZA (Hop Sing), at least when we look at it in retrospect, although in this case it was more the stereotyping than the actual person playing it.
    I am extremely serious.

The answer is false!!!! Bregt and Thomas had it figured out or just guessed. The long list of Chan actors include Warner Oland, a Swede, Sidney Toler, Roland Winter, J. Carroll Naish, and Peter Ustinov. However there was an animated version and Keye Luke who was Chinese and portrayed #1 son with Warner Oland was the featured voice.
