Amongst many Historical inaccuracies in Mel Gibson's movie BRAVEHEART one of the most glaring is the wearing of 'belted plaid' ( more commonly known as a Kilt ) by Wallace and his men and it simply DIDN'T exist in the 13th century anywhere.

Everything Gibson directs and puts in a movie is true, since he did Passion of the Christ. So, obviously, duuh!

PARAMOUNT is the oldest surviving film-studio logo. Though it's meant to be a generic mountain, if it was based on a real one it would likely have been Ben Lomond Peak in Ogden, Utah, near where the logos artist William G. Hodkinson grew up. The early logo had the outline of the mountain surrounded by 24 stars - said to have represented the 24 stars signed to Paramount at that time.
