Also known as Corona. Nice beer that, expensive though.

I like it (though frequently get mocked because it's apparently "girly").

WKD is girly (and disgusting). Corona most certainly is not!

I think you mean empathise. wink

Indeed shame I wasn't sure about that, thanks for pointing it to me!
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

    NP: Stardust - Ilan Eshkeri

A very enjoyable fantasy score. The various classical adaptations are very fun to listen to!

Just a note to Erik - when I first heard the track you liked, 'To Belize' (can't remember the exact name), when I heard the last 30 seconds, I thought: "There's one track Erik will like!" wink

    cheesy

But I love this one. It may help that I know a bit of the story, but the final track, 'An Old Woman', is so moving to me.

Indeed! The last track is very good. There are 3-4 really good cues in this score which would make for a fine 15 minute suite. LIke I said earlier if I ever need a nice relaxing score to listen to this one is high on my list.

Catch Me If You Can - John Williams

I haven't listened to this music since years because I couldn't really get into it at my first two listens. It seems that it was high time to gave it a spin because this time I've began to like the score. It is still far from my favourite Williams' music (I don't particularly love jazz) but the Father's Theme is beautiful and I also love the playful parts (Airport Scene, et.)

NP: Coco Avant Chanel - Alexandre Desplat

Me likey the first three tracks including "Chez Chanel" which is the first of Desplat's waltzes that I really really like. So far this album flows from one tracks to the other like no other Desplat score I've heard. There is some really nice music here... so far at least. wink

I wish I could do a short 5 minute segment on your show about the various permutations of one of the themes. I'm not sure I could explain it well though. wink

  5. I think there would be more music than commentary in Franz's Film Music Corner. dizzy

But hey, I just got a microphone and a Zoom H4n device. At last I can record in quality now. I'll give it a try on the weekend and see what you think.
