Oh right, Monsters, Inc. (first track), some Linin' Song crap, In The Mood (Glen Miller) and Jamie Cullum's version of Singin' In The Rain. They all have to be Jazz/Blues/Gospel etc. songs/instrumentals - otherwise I would have just done Star Wars (or perhaps not since it takes all the fun away slant ).

I think you've made the right choice avoiding favourites.

As a non-professional musician I try to avoid over analysing music, I like the magic just as it is.

Ditto Comedy, I can't stand TV programs that disect what makes comedy funny.

Mine's perfect for what I use it for. (Music, genera media, Garageband/Pro Tools, t'internet, etc.)

But a computer's a computer. I just happen to have a Mac because I like the look and feel of the OS... I really couldn't care less whether a 'PC' is "better" or "worse" than a Mac. They're just computers at the end of the day.

I can't remember in all honesty. I use the ones in the 'Mac lab' (as it's called) at uni. Mbox2 does ring a bell though...

What's annoying me currently? 3 hour lectures on American 'roots' music! It's SO BORING! Can't believe I got up for a 9AM start for this crap.

I officially hate the whole American musical culture, or at least that whole New Orleans 'black' music shite - and then on the flipside the Jebus-loving cowboys who probably envisage a future in heaven with Jebus by their side while they serenade him with twanky guitars. Okay, I appreciate its importance and how it shaped modern music today (even in film music), but I couldn't care less about it. It's so opressive. So old. ('Old' in a sort of derogatory sense I suppose.)

Christ I need some film music...

Wagner influenced the typical, traditional film music approach. But film music is all genres. Many 60s scores were Jazz-influenced scores, which grew from this American 'roots' music.

I know, i was teasing you. But in core, the orchestral nature of today's film music remains the romantic era.
