Did you add the extra tracks to it from the 5th disc? One and a half hours of Williams bliss! -

Is it available on CD? -

I'm in a middle of a war in my job....So I need ....ZIMMER.
NP:King Artur
Something Muscular. Something over the top. Pure Zimmer.
Thanks, Hans.
The final minutes of "all of them" is still one of my favourties cues from Zimmer, ever. -

You should amend this as soon as possible! Crusade gets the largest expanded treatment of the three, and there are some great cues on that 5th disc. -

The first thing I did was put them in chronological order! -
- CommentTimeFeb 23rd 2009
Me too. I didn't listen to them until I had sorted them out and tagged them in this order, otherwise I'd feel as though I'm missing out on something - which I would have been. And thus began the addiction... -
- CommentTimeFeb 23rd 2009
Aye, me too.
Isn't it odd, though?
With thor, I'm one of the most vocal opponents of the whole "chronological & complete" approach... yet with the Indy scores and -to a larger extent- the Star Wars scores, that's EXACTLY what I do: painstakingly make sure that I have almost a musical recreation of the films.
Not sure why.
Probably because these films have always been close to me, even before my film music addiction.'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

Depends on the score and its film. Some scores I like a short album made for the best listening experience, some scores I like the complete thing. I can't really understand being particularly opposed to either as both have their virtues.
This fence is very comfortable. -

(See how I cleverly crossposted through threads there!)

You're right. It's not very comfortable at all. -

Before I'm off to work I need a masterpiece to set my mind at ease:
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (Howard Shore) (regular album)
A stunning beginning for the trilogy, how can anyone not love the themes Shore wrote for all the fantastic characters and events? This regular album still does a lot for me, having heard the complete recording only once, I must say this one I like listening to the most... It's a score which immediately transports you to middle-earth, whether you want to or not. Pure Genius !!!!"considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -

Hehe. Me too. Indeed, it was a long and lonely ride for me at times over at FSM and Filmus-L, as I was the only person not completely enamoured by "chronological and complete" releases until Thor came along. -

NP: The Holiday Hans Zimmer
Lovely score, with a brilliant begin and end
Ps, the main theme for Kate Winslet's character is still one of his very best, just perfect. But then, he also used all the perfect noteswaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!! Where's my nut? arrrghhhhhhh -

Elliot Goldenthal and Others - Heat
Still one of his very best works. Saw the film three times in a WEEK. One of the BEST action thrillers at least of last decade. Lots to learn from. The soundtrack is very well rounded up, even the non-score cues just fit in.http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -
