    Bought in Ubeda

La Lune dans le Caniveau - Gabriel Yared
    Camille Claudel - Gabriel Yared
I have heard clips and saw some selections of it on the concert two years ago. Loved them (especially the first)!

Hierro - Zacarias M de la Riva
Like Ant, I heard the soundclip in his session and Mikaels presentation. So I decided to give it a go (and let it sign)

    L'Odyssée de l'Espèce - Yvan Cassar
On recommendation of D. and Martin wink

    Il Mercenario
    - Ennio Morricone
    As advised. wink

    Cefalonia - Ennio Morricone
    A pure guess, cheap

Yay for more Yared. Camille Claudel is just gorgeous!

Hey, I too have been raving about Cassar for a long time. Remember the GTS Africa game?
Now go and get his Massai score if you haven't already got it.

    My recent purchase...
Olivier Lliboutry - Marie de Nazareth

Came a bit expensive but I've been searching for a while so I'm glad to have it.

Dick Hyman - Everyone Says I love You
Ver van de Familie - The film music cd comes with the dvd in one package. It's partly score and partly songs, by many composers: Fons Merkies, Patrick Drabe, Alex Britti and Mirjam Verheem.

Even though I made a vow to myself not to buy anything the next couple of weeks, I just ordered the hyped up:

    KRULL - James Horner

Just to make sure I got it before this sells out again and is sold against ridiculous rates... shame

Just bought KRULL for the upteenth time!
But I had to as it's my favorite score (along with Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Raiders and The Empire Strikes Back)

Also had to get Batman (deluxe version).

So I guess I'll be eating rice by candlelight for the next fortnight!

Yeah, I'm still waiting for that as well.
So far there's been precious little feedback anywhere (one strangely lyrical review on FSM), so I'm still on the fence on re-buying this soundtrack. WHile the content is deffinitely worth it, if the mastering isn't significantly better than the original -and quite good- SuperCollector, I see no point in re-ordering it.
(If however it's on a level with Horner's re-issued Star Trek scores, I'm gonna be all over it!!!)

    Indeed sir I will.
If it's anything like the improved Star Trek 2 & 3 scores I will be elated to say the least!

BTW, some one at FSM has a compliant about the sound quality of Batman. Check out the post and samples! Scroll down to the bottom of the first page and read Marlene's post.

  2. Decided not to go for Krull - I've never really thought "this sounds poor" - but went for Batman. And Predators.

    Also (digital)

Batman: Under The Red Hood - Christopher Drake (he's released some excellent scores recently)
    Deadline - Carlos José Alvarez
    Alan Wake - Petri Alanko
    Within - Jeff Toyne

It's not only at FSM, Demetris! I've heard the disc and it doesn't sound great... but then again the people at La La Land weren't working with the best elements possible.

BTW, MainTitles isn't immune from people who complain. We all do it!

I haven't heard the album yet but I've been told it doesn't sound very good. No doubt it's as good as they could possibly have got it, but I don't think there's harm in people complaining if the issues they raise are genuine.
