    The new Rammstein album is finally here, and it totally rocks! This is the special 2CD digipack, and there's even a purely orchestral version of "Roter Sand" that has definite film music vibes. Can't wait untill the concert in February! punk

    It should be good. For some reason, I missed out on of their last tours (I think it was the REISE REISE one), and my buddies who were there, were so "kind" as to give me a call during the concert, I picked it up and all I could hear were the riffs of "Du Hast". I gave them my virtual finger right there, and decided it should NEVER happen again. So I picked up a ticket for their current tour the moment they were released, even though it's quite expensive - 750 NOK ($133).

    Thor that is as expensive as going to a NHL game, well at least in Minnesota. Erik says in Toronto they're even more.

    I'll give you that, if there was an archetypal SS Tank Commander image then the brilliant Shaw is THAT man cool

    But the film is full of bad gaffes and was a gross insult to the veterens that were actually there! Oh, and don't get me started about the use of hardware ( tanks ) in the film, it's pathetic.

    As someone who's really into WWII history watching American tanks that were not in service until the Korean war blasting away at each other really rankles, I just CAN'T watch it, there's not a single piece of genuine German hardware to be seen in the entire film.

    For the past few days I've been able to continue listening to this album all the way through.
    I hope Bassey and Arnold continue (and Barry as well) to collaborate and make more albums.

    The guitar bit that starts at the 3:58 mark is perfect in all respects.

    Did anyone happen to catch the BBC's Children In Need Night Of The Proms' gig yesterday by Sir Paul, doing a full-orchestra, guest star studded rendition of Hey Jude?

    When you see and hear thousands of people joining in in the end, you know why the extro to this song IS in fact the best extro in the history of pop music, and the sole reason why -even if I prefer other songs in their entirety- Hey Jude has my vote for the very best pop song in the history of the world.
    Something truly extraordinary happens every time this is played.

  25. I'm a bit addicted to Jace Everett's "Bad Things" (title song to True Blood) at the moment. Much prefer an acoustic version I found on Amazon rather than the one featured on the show.
